Scarsdale, NY – January 17, 2019 – August Research LLC, an American company with clinical trial operation services in Central and Eastern Europe, announced today that it has acquired the operations of SPRI Clinical Trials in Georgia and Moldova as of January 1, 2019.
“Georgia is a very attractive market for conducting clinical trials with its very fast start-up timeline and Moldova is a natural extension of August Research’s operations in Romania”, according to Dana Leff Niedzielska, CEO of August Research. “We are very excited to expand our footprint in Europe and solidify our position as a leading CRO in Central and Eastern Europe.”
Since its founding in 2012, August Research has been focused on the delivery of high-quality clinical trial services in Central and Eastern Europe. The company has operations in Bulgaria (headquarters), Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
